Every figure on TryToolsy comes from a named government source, is published by an automated pipeline with human oversight, and carries a visible data date. This page explains exactly how — and how to get an error fixed.
Where the data comes from
All prices are sourced from Agmarknet (agmarknet.gov.in), the Government of India’s official agricultural marketing portal, via the public data.gov.in API. We do not accept paid listings, sponsored prices, or user-submitted rates. TryToolsy is independent and not affiliated with any government body.
How often it updates
Our pipeline syncs with the source daily. Every price page displays the trading date its figures belong to (“Last updated”), and our sitemaps advertise the same date — never an inflated one. If a mandi has not reported for a day, we show its most recent reported session rather than inventing a number.
What we compute (and what we don’t)
Averages, day-over-day changes, moving averages, spreads and rankings are computed live from the stored government data at the moment you load a page. We never fabricate trader counts, arrival volumes, weather effects, or price predictions. Analytical labels (e.g. “7-day average above 14-day average”) describe arithmetic, not advice.
Corrections policy
If a published figure differs from the official source, we correct it as soon as it is verified — usually within one sync cycle. Because pages render from the database, a correction propagates to every affected page immediately. Found something off? Report it via the Contact page with the mandi name, commodity and date; we check every report against the source record.

Price reports are generated by the TryToolsy Market Desk pipeline — automated composition over verified government data, maintained and reviewed by the site’s operator. Nothing on this site is financial, trading or agricultural advice; see our disclaimer.
